Role: Game Designer / Scripter

Working with Subatomic Studios was inspiring.

My role as Game Designer was broad. Initially I was tasked with managing the creation of the single player campaing. Next, I took on thedesign of or CCG heroes and hero system. Over time I eventually gravitated to being the primary scriptor fo the company, prototyping many of our hero abilties and writing unique AI triggers for specific hero behaviors. In this capacity I was able to take on a few tasks that would have otherwise used engineering time.

Highlights

  • Created SP campaign plan

  • Provided feedback to designers on mission gameplay

  • Collected feedback (and data) from live playtesters

  • Worked directly with CCO on hero character designs

  • Word with Lead Designer and CCO on Hero pipeline

  • Designed the Hero Database and Hero Abilities.
